The artwork
This monumental artwork celebrates the heritage of Grauves by depicting Ceres, goddess of the harvest, as a protector of the vineyards. Seated on a vine stock, she embodies the rootedness and labor of winegrowers.
In the face of climate challenges, the piece highlights the need to preserve this land. Installed on a stone barn, it engages in dialogue with the Champagne landscape, blending tradition and contemporary art to honor the resilience of the winegrowing community.
