Ce projet explore l’idée de l’écriture du vent, comme un phénomène naturel et un langage perceptible. En inscrivant ses mouvements sur des plaques de cuivre, l’œuvre capte les traces laissées par le vent, transformant la nature en acteur de la sculpture.
À travers une ingénierie que l’artiste a conçu et la stabilité de la sculpture, l’oeuvre nous offre à lire l’écriture du vent.
The artwork
This project explores the idea of wind as a form of writing — a natural phenomenon and a perceptible language. By inscribing its movements onto copper plates, the artwork captures the traces left by the wind, turning nature into an active participant in the sculpture.
Through an engineering system designed by the artist and the stability of the structure, the piece allows us to read the writing of the wind.
L'artiste - Farid Kati
La pratique de Farid Kati est profondément enracinée dans l'exploration des forces énergétiques et de la mémoire du vent. Il cherche à donner vie à une relecture du monde qui nous entoure, en capturant le mouvement et l'empreinte délicate du vent. Il qualifie les traces laissées par ces mouvements d'adugraphies, un néologisme formé en associant le mot berbère "adu" qui signifie vent, avec le concept de graphie.

The artist - Farid Kati
Farid Kati’s practice is deeply rooted in the exploration of energetic forces and the memory of the wind. He seeks to bring to life a new reading of the world around us by capturing the movement and delicate imprint of the wind. He refers to the traces left by these movements as ‘adugraphies’ — a neologism combining the Berber word ‘adu’ meaning wind, with the concept of writing.
